Have recently started adding "sprat sprinkles" to my dogs biscuits and have noticed their coat condition improve dramatically. We feed a good quality kibble and try to keep the treats natural and low fat, but the sprat sprinkles (dried sprats and sprat flakes) have been great. In fact we have been tring to keep some weight on our little working girl and this seems to have done the trick. Would highly recommend them. We get them from Mariners Choice, along with the salmon and potato treats. And they are great at customer service. Finally feel we have the right food (millies Wolfheart), the right snacks and two happy, healthy dogs...

Ooo never tried the spratt sprinkles so might give them a go. I get the fish squares from mariners choice and Ellie loves them :D

My two never chewed their biscuits until I started adding the sprat sprinkles, and both their coats are ultra shiny and soft. I like the fact that they state the source and it's sustainable fish. Mariners choice have been excellent suppliers....so much so that although we used to buy the fish4dogs skinny strips I am going over to Mariners Choice fish fingers.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for my bank balance!!) I've just done my monthly zooplus shop ;) Will definitely be trying them next month :005:

This month is " buy one get one free", if you could see my garage :005:
We have had to buy a new storage unit as we have sooooo many sorest sprinkles.....
They do "fish fingers" too which are popular with my two.

I've still got some sprat sprinkles and fish squares from when they were last on offer :D. My 2 are raw fed but they like a few sprat sprinkles or fish squares for treats, although William had a bit of a cough and splutter once when eating some sprat sprinkles. They're crunchy and bony and I think he got a bit stuck.
I used to buy fish treats from Fish 4 Dogs or Jon Angell (now Angell Pet Co. or something similar I think) but I like that the Mariner's Choice goodies are from traceable and sustainable sources. I'm not sure where the other companies source their fish from.
I'm hoping Mariner's Choice will have some good offers at Crufts.

My OH won't put them on the kibble, he can't bear their little fish faces looking at him, to me it's like star gazey pie every morning. :005: :005:
They seem to be dried but moist , so I do know what you mean about the little dry backbones possibly causing a cough and a splutter, but they are just right now. I had an issue about the packaging and sent Mariners Choice an email, within hours I had a phone call and replacement products and was very happy with them as a trustworthy company. I really do like all their products and am NOT on commission although it might read like it ;)
I just think if you are looking for a good, natural product these are really good.
