Just wondering what everyone puts in there kongs?
-
Carrots, mashed potato, cream cheese, pate, banana, kibble, gravy bones (not all at once, obviously).... anything squishable really!
-
Riley is lazy and wont work that hard , Ive often came back to a half filled kong and he expects ME to get it out for him.
So now I put in, chicken, sweet potato, scrambled egg, bit of peanut butter etc, again not all at once.
-
Nature diet/ Wainwrights and mini jacks.
-
Naturediet and fish4dogs star treats
-
Nature diet, kibble, peanut butter, dairylea, mashed banana and any soft treats or biscuits that I can squish in!
-
I often do a bit of kibble and then top it with meat or natural yogurt or sometimes cucumber and freeze
-
Thank you, I have been putting in kibble and peanut butter or cream cheese but it really doesn't last very long and is not particularly varied. Also he is now on the medium size kong, at 7 months if I don't put in kibble surely I shouldn't fill it with just peanut butter, he'd be sick!?

I only put a teaspoon of peanut butter in last as a soft stopper. It's very salty for them so wouldn't advise filling a whole kong with it! I also make sure Jamie always has a drink available in the same room so he'll have a drink after to dilute any salt

If you freeze them they last a bit longer ;)
-
Are the gravy bones the pedigree ones?
-
I get pets at home own brand ones. Think most pet shops have their own version.

if you mix some kibble with natural yogurt and then freeze
it that seems to last longer without there being too much non dog food in it
