Title: grooming table recommendations
Post by: katie94 on April 01, 2014, 08:09:08 AM
I'm looking for a table that is lightweight, folds easily and easy to store but at the same time needs to be sturdy without any wobble. I have been recommended one which comes with an h bar and nooses which I like the look off but I think I'm going to struggle to store it and carry it. Thank you x

I use a folding camping table, I also bought (on-line)some ribbed rubber matting & stock that to it, it's very light & stable and the cost was next to nothing. :D

The loopy thing isn't to stop them jumping off, it's to keep them stood up or to stop them being nosy and getting there head in the way. Shouldn't ever be left on if you leave your cocker as they can still jump off and hang themselves. I got given mine but I think you can get them from eBay/amazon x

We have one of these tables http://www.groomers-online.com/product.php/2597/adjustable-ringside-table (http://www.groomers-online.com/product.php/2597/adjustable-ringside-table), which is foldable,  portable, and lightweight, with adjustable feet.

Same here. Just a perfect size for both our cockers, folds up very easily, height adjustable and is surprisingly stable when set up.

Bob.

Oops, forgot about this thread! I did eventually buy a grooming table complete with arm and noose, not as light as I'd have liked but is extremely steady when Rufus moves around on it (nosey boy!!)
