Title: Fire works

Poor Penny having awful time with fireworks for the last few days we have had them she stared and shivered and panted and jumped on my knee and 10ish before she settled have had her wrapped up tight but tonight no fireworks and at 700clock the shaking panting has started and sat  layed against me has stared to settle I know they can have sedation but with it every night for for so? long is it safe Hoping other cockers and other dogs have settled

try her on melatonin - its really helped with Stella (I gave her maximum for some night, which is 3mg x3) - I started her on a lower dose on the days leading up to the fireworks which wasn't long to be honest

Thankyou for replying It is the 2nd night to night so hopefully she will be alright and not be stressed whenstarting to get darkDid you get it from the vet ? As there wil, be fireworks on Newyear
