quick question please! :embarassed: do I want the ones for "small dogs" for my 3.5yr old workers?
http://www.vetuk.co.uk/pet-meds-prescription-only-milbemax-c-21_747/milbemax-chewable-worming-tablets-for-small-dogs-and-puppies-p-9207 (http://www.vetuk.co.uk/pet-meds-prescription-only-milbemax-c-21_747/milbemax-chewable-worming-tablets-for-small-dogs-and-puppies-p-9207)
I cant find any other chewable ones on there? but don't want to get the wrong thing!
thank you! :D

They're prescription only, so you'll need a prescription from your vet in order to buy online. Vets are obliged to sell you a prescription, usual cost around £10 to £12, but they're unlikely to sell you one unless they've seen your dog within the last 6 months.

sorry yes I have the prescription from the vet, but that says
"Milbemax Chewy 125MGx4 DOG"
and the VetUK site doesn't say what mg it is?

http://www.petmeds.co.uk/Dogs/Dog-Health/Wormers/Milbemax-Tablets-for-Dogs-and-Puppies/p/I0011299
This site indicates that
"MILBEMAX tablets for dogs: a tablet containing 12.5 mgmilbemycin oxime and 125 mg praziquantel.
MILBEMAX tablets for small dogs and puppies: a tablet containing 2.5 mg milbemycin oxime and 25 mg praziquantel."
The small dog tablets are listed by the manufacturer for dogs up to 5kgand have 25mg of praziquantel I think you need the tablets for dogs which contain 125mg of praziquantel.

Thankyou I emailed VetUK and it appears they don't do the chewable one :( "The Milbemax for adult dogs that we stock are standard non chewable tablets."
Where is the best place to get these from instead please? :)

Pet Drugs Online https://www.petdrugsonline.co.uk/dogs/prescriptions/m
I buy William's Optimmune ointment from them (prescription ointment for Dry Eye) and have always found them very quick and reliable and their prices are good.
