Title: Black and Tan markings
Post by: NickiLondon on November 14, 2014, 05:38:03 PM
Hello

Was just wondering if a bit of white markings is considered to be a fault in Black and Tans? Also I noticed that some Black and Tan have some red just above the nose and some of them don't.

Could xperienced people please advise?

Kind regards

Ollie (-pop) and Nicki

I've never seen a Black and Tan with any white and I'm not sure if it's considered to be a fault. My girl had the tan marking across her nose. If it's just going to be a pet I'm sure it wouldn't really matter. As far as showing goes I would think any white may be considered unacceptable but I know a small amount of white on the chest is allowed on Golds and Blacks. There's probably someone on here that can answer your question.😃

White is allowed on the chest but that's it. ;) any where else is considered a mis-mark.

Thank you for you prompt replies
Yes, a bit of white marking on his chest.
He is a gorgeous pup and I am going to take him anyway because he is just mine. I can feel it with my guts. Was just wondering.
He also has some random black hair on his paws.
I might be a bit too particular but just wanted to know
