Title: dogs own sent

I have a 7 month old Cocker bitch I believe her to be of the working breed. When out walking every 2 mins or so she has to stop lie down and smell her bits. It's like she has to check every sent she finds to see if it's her. It's getting embarrassing has any one else experience this.

How long has she been doing this?

Could she be coming into season?

This is what I was thinking - or a slight water infection?

She has done this from when we got her at 15 weeks I thought she would just grow out of it. She has just now at 7 month coming to the end of her first season x
