So am I.
When I click on the link I get a long list, but I'm afraid it means nothing to me. Am I doing something wrong, or am I just being a bit thick?

Yes, but you have to start a new file then import the GED file and not open.. :D
I must be very blonde today - it's a fault of mine     but I downloaded the file as explained above, and then imported into the programme, and whilst I see a very long list in the top half of the screen, nothing appears in the bottom.
So have I messed up big time, have I broke it, or am I just a very hungry - non fed human that is also knackered as well!

You're on the right track...
If you click on a cocker in the top list, their pedigree (as far as we have it) will appear in the lower part of the page. Then you can track Mia's pedigree back (hopefully) further than you have it so far...
hope this helps
