Title: Learning self-control
Post by: Londongirl on June 05, 2016, 08:26:19 AM
Henry is getting the idea that if he barks at us to play with him, we won't do it. He does a funny little harrumphing noise when trying not to bark. Yesterday he was so desperate for us to play with him and finding it so hard not to bark, he lay down and put his paw over his nose to stop himself! (He's allowed one bark for attention, or 'yes please!').

:005: O'h bless him!! -I know the harrumphing bit well - we also get little squeaks, which are so funny but we've never actually had the paw over the nose,  - that's very innovative!!
Reminds me of the time I went to a recital being performed by an extremely over the top tenor whose melodramatic facial expressions brought on a fit of giggles and I had to keep pretending to blow my nose so I could hide my face in my hanky! :005:
