My Tilly (2 year old black) has quite a few common relatives to your Jem:

Jem's mum sounds very glamorous  ;) !

Hi, I'm wondering if Jem is from Dorothy's litter from "Molly" aka Chataway Naomi Campbell?? I went to see that litter as I am quite good friends with Dorothy  ;) She had 10 if I remember correctly  ;)

Yes she is! What a small world! You met Jem before I did (she was the bossy one with the white chin!)

Dorothy has been fantastic and Molly was totally calm about us handling her puppies. I think only 9 of the litter survived and she has kept one of the gold bitches, Ruby. I am actually picking up photos today and will be sending some to her at the end of the week. Jem had her first paw trim last night and starts puppy classes tonight so I was going to let Dorothy know how she was getting on.

Yes I don't think Molly was very well with her litter, but she looked fine when I saw her, I think they were about 4 weeks then. Dorothy's dogs eat better than I do  :lol:

Don't they just. It took ages to get Jem to each puppy food. I started off having to hand feed her scrambled egg with cheese! The she decided she didn't like the bowl and wouldn't eat unless it was off a plate! Ideas above her station I think. Glad to say she is now eating out of a bowl and is eating puppy food although I do like to spoil her with mince and chicken!

I can't even get my head around how many times removed they all are as cousins etc but its nice to know its a big happy family!

On the family tree that we have all been compiling there are now 1377 cockers, working, solid and parti coloured and they are all related.  

I dread to even do the calculation on the 'third cousin, twice removed' thing :blink:

Isn't it great finding the relatives though?

Just want to say thanks for all your work on this I find it fascinating and have often wondered if you could trace them all back - and yes it seems you can.  It would be great to keep this going so if you get fed up please say!  I'm actauly thinking about buying the full version, as it seems quite a good program to use.
