Is proving to be a handful. Looking for suggestions to occupy her mind. She has snuffle mats and balls, indestructible large dog toys ( normal toys are destroyed in mins ) She can't have chews because of tummy issues.
She is very wilful, telling her no is unacceptable to her
and sends her into a frenzy.
I can't believe my darling Gemma sent me this monster
Who thinks I am only in the same room to be abused and ignored

I do sympathize :luv: but at the same time am secretly quite jealous, Humph never wants to do anything these days that doesn’t involve food :shades: :lol2:
Will Molly search for things? I started by hiding treats under cushions etc but he very soon „advanced“ to toys etc.which I hid in another room, sometimes in a basket with a towel on top. I realize Molly‘s still only a a baby but Humphrey picked up on it really quickly and was quite happy to sit and stay while I went off to hide something. He‘d shoot off in a frenzy, nose clicking like mad and after 10 minutes he‘d be flat out!! :005:
An old long towel or rag with lots of knots tied along it with treats hidden in the knots lasts a bit longer than a snuffle mat.
Another idea is an open plastic bottle with a hole on each side (about in the middle) through which you pass a stick so you can spin the bottle on the stick, - you can either hold it in two hands or support it on something. Put a treat in the bottle and see how long Miss Molly needs to figure out that by spinning the bottle, the treat will come out.
Cardboard Boxes full of screwed up newspaper with a few treats interspersed into the paper is a cheap albeit messy passtime. Empty toilet rolls standing side by side in a box with a few treats hidded in some of them….

Could you try an activity such as Fun Agility or Hoopers - may cement the bond with you? I am doing Fun Agility with Rupert and he loves it. Going to try Hoopers soon hopefully

How old is Molly now?
She sounds very much like my Maisie. She was a ‘teenager” at 8 weeks and has stayed that way and is nearly three :005:
If she was told off she had to answer back and even now likes to have the last word :005:
She was a real shock to the system after my two heart dogs who were such gentle souls.
Bizzylizzy has given you lots of good suggestions. They are all different and all I can advise is just take a day at a time. At 5 months Maisie was the puppy from hell and my hands used to be red raw from her teeth but I KNEW she would get better and it took a while but she did. She is still hard work compared to her younger laid back brother but can be very loving too albeit on her terms :005:
If its any consolation, I also think that it is the super bright ones that are such hard work ;).
