Hi all. Im new here and just joined. Sorry for long post
We have our lovely 14 week old puppy Ripley who has been with us since 9 weeks old. She is loving and affectionate but as all pups a bit of handful. We have the normal teething etc but so far we have had no damage to furniture etc. Just hands or shoe laces.
She is fine going to bed in her crate and sleeps all night, goes in her pen at times and is really good. We have had no separation anxiety and she has been very good.
But we do have an issue. She loves digging but when we try to stop her digging (which we have done gentley and trying to distract her) she snaps. She does it whether in the garden or down the side of the sofa.
This morning for the first time she found some poo. We tried to get her away from it but was snapping aggressively. This is the only time she does it. Anyone got any ideas. Im sure she is gaurding her spot or her treasure but we have 2 young kids who love her and we dont want her to snap at them
