Last night she went up to my daughters bedroom and stole a soft toy from her bed, came downstairs and stood at the box until I let her in, she then presented her babies with a little soft penguine toy to play with :D

 Awww bless her :D
Ruby did the opposite - she used to pinch all the soft toys I put in the puppy pen until the novelty wore off

  Well normally Buttons would steal the toys and take them to her bed but she seemed to think they needed something new to play with and didn't approve of my choice of toys, Mother knows best
They are charging around like little maniacs  lovely little maniacs I hasten to add :D
They are really quite bright and coming out and weeing on paper now (have been since 3 weeks) so hopefully they will be 99% paper trained by the time they go to their new homes ;)

Ours were hysterical when they were learning to go on paper, they would put all four paws on the paper but their bum would be off it, still they meant well  .
Once, we were feeding the pups and we noticed that the pet food cupboard door was open, four of them had gone in for a look and the next thing we saw was a pup dragging out a tub of unopened cat food followed closely by three pups obviously thinking that all their christmases had come at once, me and mum were crying with laughter at the expression on their faces and the speed that their tails were wagging  . They didn't eat any as we took it away before they got the chance (much to their dissapointment).
