hiya folks
I had a terrible night last night and wondered if you could help.
Paddy is 6 months in the next couple of weeks and yesterday he seemed really restless - didn't want to sit down etc - he woke this morning at 3.15am and was crying (unheard of) - so I got up and put him out and he had a poo and a pee and when I took him back in he was looking at his biscuits on the shelf and whining..hmm (I always put him to bed with a small handfull) so I gave him a handful and put him back to his crate. 10 minutes later it started again - so I ignored him, - he was still at it at 5.15 so I got up again put him out - he only had a pee and ran back inside to look at his biscuits on the shelf this time he got the short shift and put in his crate - they crying then continued until I got up at 7.45....
What do you think it is?? Is he hungry or is he starting to get hormonal - oh I also gave him worming stuff yesterday from the vets but he was restless before this.?
I am giving him his Quota in biscuits and I can feel his ribs no bother - I can also feel his backbone a little bit but not sure if I am just thinking too much about it..
He is eating fine, pretty bouncy and bright - in fact when I put him out in the middle of the night - he was charging round the garden at top speed!?

Could it not be adolescence starting? Loki is 6 months old and he behaves pretty well most of the time but the past couple of days he has been pushing the boundries a little on some things (nothing like what you are going through though) Sorry cant help much.

His wormer probably upset him a bit - perhaps he sicked up his dinner in the garden earlier in the evenng and was hungry in the night?
If itsw a one off, I wouldn't worry - all creatures have off days ;)

Yeah it may have been a one off - he never sicked up his dinner cos I always go out with him.. it might be the panacur off to see if I can find links

When he went to the loo is he straining as he might be constipated --- just a thought --- or may be anal glands bothering him

Nah - he managed to get two large dollops out - although a little on the soft side.. Thanks for the thought though
