Title: jackie and ellie
Post by: jackie 14 on November 04, 2007, 07:46:20 PM
hi everyone, just to introduce myself and ellie.I waited 17 years to get my cocker after my other half relented and pressure from my 17 year old daugthers to get one,she has been the perfect dog for someone who has'nt had dealings with a dog before (my husband) he now loves her as much as the rest of us do. She is 2 1/2, had eye surgery when she was a year old , seems to be okay at the moment. At present training to do agility at our local club, moving on very slow as she has such a strong nose on her and is easily distracted, she's been measured as medium but shes not happy with the height, so will have to keep her on small  jumps for the present, also training search and rescue in local woods and fields is very keen just her handler a bit slow.
