Hi all,
I'm a new member and will have a few topics to raise in the near future.
I have 2 cocker's that are just coming up for 1 year old. Sadie all black and Connie a blue roan. Both gorgeous and spoilt rotton.
We have just this weekend "re homed" (i think its more like rescued) a gold cocker girl called Daisy. On the scrap of paper that came with her it advises "she is 3 in Feb"
She was kept to get puppies from but... she did not take to it and all her puppies died soon after being born. We told the owner we would take her and she agreed only to contact us a week later to say she was expecting again( she had been kept in a outbuilding with her brother!) We thought we had heard the last of this but the owner called us 3 weeks ago to say Daisy had 2 premature pups both dead......1 further one found in the sawdust a few days later. She said we could have her again.
We decided ! "Get that poor dog out of there sharpish!!"
She is Nearly 3 and she is half the size of our 2 girls.
Any way thats where we are now!

she hasnt had a great time :'(
but you have come to her rescue and i admire that so much well done ;)

Lots do their pictures through a thing called photobucket, not sure if you know about that but we can help if you like ;)

What a fantastic thing you're doing for poor little Daisy, she must have had a really miserable time before you got her, well done :luv:

Well done for rescuing Daisy from such a terrible life, it will be nice for her to have a settled and happy life with your other 2 beautiful girls :luv: :luv: i have George a blue roan who is coming up to 3 and Hamish another blue roan who is now 8 months, they are Uncle and Nephew :D

Welcome. I have an 8 month old blue roan, and two retrievers aged 2 and 4 years old. :D

Poor little Daisy, but well done you for taking her, I'm sure you will be well rewarded with all the love she has to give you. Connie and Sadie sound great too, hope you get some pics sorted soon.

I currently have a 6 month old blue roan cocker boy and a 2.5 yr old Weimaraner Bitch I recently re-homed... Did have a lovely golden cocker boy until may this year too :'(
We DO need to see pics.. basically, go to photobucket, open an account (it's free), then upload your pics from your PC. Re-size, then copy the image code underneath and paste it into your post and we'll see your lovely dogs! :D :D

Hi all we are new to this just want to say hi and to let people know we are looking for a rescue cocker, we have found 2 that need re-homing but feel the lady is asking way to much for them both £600 will drop to £480 as boosters are not up to that. Would appreciate any feed back on this

Well done on rescuing Daisy, the poor we girl, she has had a terrible start and been through a lot in her young life. I hope she settles in well with you and your other two gorgeous dogs. Looking forward to seeing photos of them all.
