Title: Whats the best age to switch from Burns puppy to adult
Post by: poppyhunter on January 19, 2008, 08:24:48 AM
My pup 1s now 6 months and I need to buy some new food, but I dont want to go and buy another bag pf puppy food if I could switch to adult.

Is one flavour better than the other to introduce first ?

Should I mix them and gradualy switch over ?

Thanks

When I phoned Burns with the same question, they told me that Kali could change over anytime as long as she had shed her puppy teeth.  So thats when I changed her over.  They also told me that the chicken and rice is the closest to the mini bites.  However, chicken and rice didnt suit them so they are on lamb and brown rice   I know some people just swapped over completely but I did a 10-1 ratio and gradually altered it the other way... just in case!
