Title: silly question time what is BARF?

sorry, I feel very silly asking this but it keeps cropping up in posts and I have no idea what it means   :embarassed:

It stands for either bones and raw food or biologically appropriate raw food.  A lot of people on here feed their dogs this diet (including me  ;) )

Basically it is feeding your dog raw meat, including bones, offal etc raw veg etc.  The idea is that is provides a much more natural diet for a dog than processed and cooked foods  ;)

If you do a search on BARF, you will find lots of info about it.  :D

As Joules said, there's lots of info about BARF if you either do a COL search or a general Google search. Here's a COL thread from last year on the same subject and there are loads more :D
