jasper seems to suffer from red eyes
what could be causing this and what can i do to help
is it just tiredness some of the time?

A lot of cockers have droopy eyes, so they can get junk in them more easily. Also when they get tired, their eyes will droop more and get red :005:
If his eyes seem irritated you can use an eye wash from the vet, that will help soothe them and flush out any stuff.
If you observe him you'll find taht when he gets tired or overheated that his eyes will get redder

Our puppy (Jasper's brother) also seems to have red eyes but I think this is the way they are. We went to a puppy party the other day and they went so red when he got excited, but the vet running the party wasn't worried at all. You can see the white around his eyes which is different from our last cocker. They aren't droopy as such but just show the white underneath the eye ball. When he gets tired or excited this then looks a bit blood shot.

My Gunner is 12 weeks now and he gets red eyes if he gets disturbed from a sleep or is tired so hopefully its normal :D

This is Buddy.
You may just be able to see that he has one pigmented inner eyelid (His right) and one which is not (his left). The white one does go red a lot, especially when he is tired. But on the day this photo was taken he had just spent 2 hours lusting over a pretty bitch on a COL meet so he was well-kna**ered!
