Title: Dandruff???

..i noticed this morning that Sammy has got a sort of dandruff on his coat. We don't bath him the groomer does it every 6 weeks or so. Can it be dandruff or some other type of skin ailment? I know someone will say, 'take him to the vet', but i just want some ideas of what it may be first ;)

I've recently posted about this with my two - it's likely that it's 'Scurf' which is another name for dandruff in dogs! I've started adding Salmon oil to their food (they're both on Burns) and can see the improvement within a few days..

I suspect the food mine are on doesn't have enough oil in for what they do and probably heating and log fires are not helping the situation here either.

...thanks for that, maybe i should add cod liver oil to his food?
