Just got back from training tonight, Coco was taking his gold citizens award, he was spot on with everything else, but couldn't manage the down stay with the out of site situation, he was up and down like a flea in a fit, in one way I was a little disappointed but when I consider he's only 20 months, I don't think he's letting me down in anyway.
I've tried all the options I can think of, for him to stay down, looking for inspiration any idea's???

ah never mind. Ayla still hasn't grasped the stay in sight let alone out of it.
We used to practise our out of sights alot for the weims, the trainer would wait within sight to let us know if any of the dogs go up but as the dog is focused on you they get used to going from a short period and short distance to a longer time period and longer distance. Its easier when you have other dogs all doind the same thing but a nightmare when one gets up adn the others decide its ok to run riot too :005: :005:
