I've just started the next stage of recall training, introducing distractions. Well its hard to find wildlife/animals on cue and in a convenient area, especially something white which is Millies favourite colour to chase ::). So I got my friend to attach a big white bag to a long piece of string and drag it along the other side of the field to us, and it worked a treat! She took off after it but spun on a sixpence when I whistled. And we even saw a bunny and again a fantastic recall, what an  :luv: :luv:. Its getting harder and harder to find things that distract her :shades:.

That's brilliant news Sarah - Millie sounds like she's responding really well to your training! :D
Very ingenious idea with the placky bag too

Sounds brilliant!!! Well done Millie!!!
:D
I've fallen out with Honey at the minute.... Decided that I wasn't to be listened to one iota this afternoon. I called her away from another dog, and she ran full pelt to me (great - loads of praise ) and then continued 50 metres beyond to another dog... >:D
Later I tried a recall with no distractions, to try and keep it fairly solid, and she came running to me (great - loads of praise  ) and then just pottered around the ground about 2 foot away from me, paying absolutely no attention to me at all.... >:D
