Dyllan has been seen by our vet who tells me that the small lump on his leg is a Histiocytoma.
She has suggested leaving it and it should go away on it own. I just wondered how long it may take?.
I'm also going to try Kelly's idea of gratefruit seed oil.
Any other ideas.

UPdate -Dill's lump has got much worse so it is going to be removed on Tuesday and sent off just in case. He made a real fuss at the vets cried whilst he was waiting and couldn't wait to get out of there :embarassed:
WEll he is home and seems to be fine, sporting a large orange bandage. :luv: :luv: :luv:

Kali had one just a few months ago at the bottom inside of her left leg . As soon as I stopped her chewing at it ( >:() it only took a couple of weeks.

Cooper had one on his back, at the base of this tail. The vet said we could just leave it, but it hadn't gone after a year so I got them to remove it when he was having an operation for something else. It was quite big but didn't bother him at all.

Rio's histiocytoma is nearly gone (about a week after first finding it). The vet said its usually up to about six weeks from tiny pimple stage til it goes.

hi sarah :D,
sorry to hear dyllan has a histiocytoma lump on his leg, try not to worry, they normally cause no problems, and most dissapear after a few weeks, unless it gets really big,or it starts to bother him, then may have to be surgically removed.
give him a big hug :luv:
