To my beautiful little Lucy, my little shadow. It is two years ago today that I lost you and had to make the worst decision of my life to spare you any suffering after we found your cancer had come back big time. You were the most beautiful faithful little girl ever. You were always by my side wherever I went and we had a lot of adventures together. You were there with me when your mum died and you became our only dog. You were such a good girl except when you were a small pup and in those days you were a real escape artist, always managing to escape from any confinement I put on you be it play pen, crate or wherever. You chewed my living room carpet and it gradually got smaller and smaller and then you started on the chairs. You were so destructive but when you turned 2 years old you suddenly turned into a little angel. I was with you the day you were born, in fact I more or less delivered you, and I was with you in your final moments. I will never forget you Lucy, you were just the best girl. Now you are up there with your mum Bella. We still have your brother Monty and he is slowing down now but doing OK.
