Title: We decided on a dog.

After my last posting of whether to get a dog or a bitch I am pleased to say that we decided on a dog, a lovely blue roan who I reckon we will cal " Nelson " due to a dark patch on one eye. The breeder at Sheffield more than made us happy and we took along my MOTHER IN LAW as she has always kept dogs ( cockers ) and if she approves, well, what more do you nead. I tried to swap her for the pup but the breeder and her husband could not be persuaded :lol: . Anyway we will most likley get him just after easter and I will post a pic as soon as i get one and as soon as I can work out how to post one on this forum.

Congratulations.  I'm glad you found what you were looking for.  You must be really excited.  A little while to wait but at least you've got plenty time to prepare for a cocker invasion   :lol:  Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

congraulations,hope you enjoy many happy years together,i had a male cocker two yrs ago,first ever,always had bitches,,have to say he is a fabulous dog (as they all are) i would definately have a boy again,well done and enjoy :wink:
