Our babe had a week in the kennels, I was absolutely heart broken leaving her and cried all the way home. She has been home a week and is absolutely fine - was a bit scatty the first day home but quickly settled back down and even seems a bit calmer now. She has picked up no bad habits and still remembers all her training. Not sure who recommended the kennels to me but many thanks to them!

I am convinced they don't fret as much about us as we do about them.
Glad she has settled back into home life now. I do think it is good to get them used to kennels while they are young. You never know when you might have to use one.

Most dogs enjoy 'Doggie Holidays', 'tis the mums that worry! Bit like leaving a 3 year old in nursery - enjoy the peace!

glad to hear that she is fine. :)
we have managed to find a kennels that seem to really suit barkers. they say he is completely an 'out of sight, out of mind' kinda chap which holds true for all sorts of things with barkley. :) he looks forlorn when i leave him but is apparently quickly happy to go off and greet whichever dog he'll be sharing with. it is definitely much harder on me than him!! ::)
