When you find the side gate open and no dog.
My sons friend came for him, come inside as usual, I was washing up and realised after a couple of minutes, no sign of Indy - stuck my head out of the door to see where she was and found the gate open.
I ran straight down the drive, to find her at the end of the street, quite happily having a good sniff around, we live fairly close to a busy road so instant panic in my head, thankfully no harm done but it made me feel quite sick, that intense fright you have when you realise their gone.

It's my worst nightmare. Thankfully the closest we've come is when the front door was left open and Millie wandered out into the hall. We totally panicked but she just sat on the stairs, had a bit of a look around and then wandered back in.
Glad she was ok though :D

Know how you feel, willow only 4 months ran out of the front door as my son a family were leaving luckily she stopped to get in their car.

That happened here tonight too! Thankfully we don't have any busy roads but its still heartstopping nonetheless. I'm so glad everything is ok, what a worry.

Oh my, Indy, don't do that to your poor mum. :o I'm so relieved that she is OK, I was really worried reading the title. :luv: x
