DANCER
02-07-08 Dancer is a 15 month working cocker bitch. She is very tiny and will be very busy but at the moment is quiet. She is an ex breeding bitch so has not lived in a home or ever been an only dog so will be best homed with another.
PLEASE NOTE: Ex-breeding dogs are normally best homed with another dog as they have usually never lived in a house before. They are used to living with other dogs and learn faster with another to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience.
To adopt a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue you will be home checked, you and all members of your family and any dogs who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog. If adopting a puppy you will need to provide details of training classes in your area. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £140. If you are interest in adopting please call the rescue centre between 10am and 4pm on 01269 843084. We are unable to return phone calls so please try again if your call is not answered or email us at sw.vanatta@virgin.net.

Milo is neutered. I think the only problem I can forsee is my working hours. Its works for us with Milo but I know rescues have their policies. Will let you all know what happens.

Well I phoned this morning at about 10.45 and she is already reserved pending home check :'( I was abit gutted but I am glad for her, she seems such a sweetie and has obv had a sad past.
The phone lines didn't even open till ten this morning! Oh well, they told me to call back if she becomes reavailable.
-
oh bad luck but at least she's not going to be long in getting her new home.

This beautiful little girl is still listed on the MT website. ph34r

please don't just go based on the look of a dog but on if you can offer it the right sort of home where it can be rehabilitated :'( :'( ugly dogs make great pets too....

She did go for home vetting but it fell through so she is still available. Give them a ring again if you are still interested.

Ahhh she is beautiful, cant believe she is an ex breeding bitch at her age?!?!? xxx
-
OMG I am so angry I would love to re-home them all but think I am fairly full now!!!
How can people do that she is so stunning and a mere baby her self I was only saying to my sisiter in law last night I dont think the working cockers really start to mature until they are 18 months let alone how ever many litters she has had to have.
I hope if the home check does not go through you get her sabrino :D

marbledmolly - did you foster this one in the end?? Or any of the others??
-
I was offered her as a foster placement last week put i had tonsillitis so couldn't do the foster run with a raging temperature :'( - I would have loved to have her here.
Kevin should phone me tonight/tomorrow to let me know what dogs are available this week. I'm keeping my fingers cross i can have one of the other cockers.
-
Any news on this little baby girl? :'(
-
I have emailed her fosterer but she is already homevetting someone for her ::) It seems that for me its just not meant to be but fingers crossed she has found a lovely home. :D
-
sorry to hear that :-\ don't give up,the one is out there just waiting for you to find them :luv:

Hi
Dont know if I am suitable but I have a 2yr old male (undoctored) and work 6 hours per day
Am willing to give a new home to another cocker would this be a goof idea?

Many rescue's including Many Tears have a policy that all other dogs in the household must be done and this would mean they would turn you down . And they also don't like the dog to be left for more then 4 hours in a day. The only way around your working hours may be if you employed a dog walker or had someone else who could have your dogs while you were at work.

has Dancer not been homed yet?
