with Luke being just a little bit incontinent...he 'leaks' while he sleeps on his bed....., I'm having to bath his belly and bits quite regularly to stop him being smelly.
Can anyone recommend a mild shampoo that will neutralise the smell of wee a bit :-\
ta :D

I'm not sure any will make a great difference but I did see advertised recently a shampoo which contained baking soda and it was supposed to keep smells at bay for longer. This ones called Oatmeal 'N Baking Soda by Lambert Kay Fresh n Clean. Provides odour control whilst soothing dry, itchy skin. I order things from USA as live in NZ but I should imagine any shampoo with baking soda in it will be the same. Also do a conditioner.
How about an in between baths spray? Fresh n Clean do a grooming spray which deodorizes, tearless formula and doesnt interfere with flea and tick stuff. Just spritz and go!!!
I havent got shares in it honest! Just reading from the catalogue. Hope this helps.

Our breeder told us to use Johnsons Baby Shampoo as it is very mild and ph neutral

I use baby shampoo on Coco too. I dilute it and I add a few drops of essential oil to the bottle - usually tea tree and peppermint ;) She smells lovely and fresh when she has had a bath - lasts a couple of hours if I am lucky ::) :005:

i use lidl baby shampoo and i also use a kids leave in detangle spray,(supersoft kids detangle spray tropical fruit) smells really fruity and makes them easy to brush they smell great for a few hours , :D you can get a deodorising spray from PAH but i havent tried it

thanx guys. I do use baby shampoo now, but its not really keeping the smell at bay bless him :-\ Its not awful, but noticable ::)
I might try adding the essential oils :shades:

if you wanted to splash out on one then pugs and kisses do quite a few http://shop.pugsandkisses.com/product/524/Fur_Breeze i know because i used to work in the bluewater one before it shut down. although the homemade ones are just as good ive heard, they also have the fresh spritz and different ones do different things e.g: insect repellent, fleas/ticks repellent, anti itch etc http://shop.pugsandkisses.com/product/96/Fresh_Spritz
sorry im not much help but there was one customer that had a similar problem and we recommended either these two types or the baby shampoo although again some dogs have a strong dislike for johnsons apparantly.?! strange i know!

I've just got my free sample of this through the post, was suprised to see a 125ml bottle which according the leaflet costs £9.99 plus postage so ... thats good.
Ive tried it in two of his meals today and cant see any difference yet but im hoping soon will be able to see less lawn burns and a nicer smelling puppy breath.

yeah mine arrived while we were away, but I've started putting it in Lukes food. It says you have to introduce it slowly, so I'm not expecting to see much difference for a bit ;) Their advice to soak half of the dry food is pretty good too, and Luke is liking that :shades:
I also found some spray lotion that makes him smell of cherryade...(it was the only 'flavour' they had left in the pet shop ph34r) and that worked great on all the groovy gang while we were on holiday after I towelled them off

Buddy came back from the groomer smelling of Brut. You could always give that a try for the retro feel!

Lol, so we have pina colada and cherryade so far... no wonder everyone mistakes Marty for a girl dog he smells that good.
May try the puppy mints, his breath isnt that bad and i dont think its the lipfolds its just when we have the lovely cocker kisses.
