Title: Forest - 3 yo Working Cocker at Dog's Trust Darlington
Post by: Nicola on September 17, 2008, 07:05:12 PM
Likes and Dislikes:  Forest is a lovely guy who has spent the last few months on a training course with the Police.  Unfortunately, he wasn’t suitable due to his lack of interest in a ball, but he did learn lots of useful manners in the process!  He is now looking for a loving pet home, where he can put is energy to good use!

Type of home needed:  Forest can be a little shy at times around new people, so would prefer a quieter adult only home where he can get to know his new family in his own time.  He likes to be on the go and would suit a rural type of lifestyle where he can enjoy being a busy spaniel!  Forest gets along well with other dogs and wouldn’t mind sharing his new home with another canine.  He could possibly be used as a working dog, and will make a fabulous addition to someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as he does!

If I hadn't just got Alfie I'd be up the A19 like a shot for this one.

Not an option for me at the moment unfortunately but he looks and sounds fantastic, if they think he could work then he'd be my kind of dog. I'm sure he won't be there long  :luv:

I'd swap my badly trained kids for this well trained spaniel if it wasn't illegal! Why oh why is it always no kids!! Must get them to leave home - is 6 to young for this do you think  :lol2:
