She was in bed with me this morning and kept suddenly jumping and turning and not able to get comfy at all. We have an appointment at 11.10am. Please keep your fingers crossed because last time she did this it was pancreatitis. I am not totally convinced that is what it is this time but something (that I cannot put my finger on) is definitely wrong :'(
-
I hope she is ok Sheryl.
-
Awww no poor Kali :'(....keeping my fingers crossed it is something simple and is fixed just like that :-*
-
Good luck at the Vets Sheryl, will be thinking of you both, poor little Chloe :'( hope its nothing serious :luv: :luv:

Oh no poor Kali, I hope it turns out to be nothing serious :luv:
-
Thinking of you and Kali Sheryl :luv:

Thanks for joining me in panic watch :005: Tis not pancreatitis.....she thinks. Kali did jump when the vet pressed her tummy but she thinks that is just because she doesn't like her tummy being pressed ::) Her ears were quite inflamed and her anal glands were quite full. She thinks that either one of those may have been enough to make her jump. I had a feeling it might not have been her pancreas but you have to check it out for your own peace of mind don't you? Curiously the heart murmur that the last vet could hear seems not to be there today :-\
-
Phew thank dog for that :luv:
-
Good good, glad it was nothing serious, sending gentle squidges your way x

I am so glad that it doesn't appear to be anything serious, but you're definitely right in getting her checked out, and I know you will be keeping a close eye on her. I so hope she feels better and it isn't anything :-*
Give her a kiss and cuddle from me. :luv:
-
Sounds like good news then! Glad she is okay
-
So glad to hear Kali is OK :luv:
-
Glad to hear she's ok :luv:
-
:luv: Good news Sheryl :luv: They do scare us dont they :luv:
-
I'm really glad Kali is ok too Sheryl :luv: :luv:
-
I am just not convinced....... :-\ She is doing a lot of groaning when she is lying down, like she cannot get comfy. I just wonder if her ears would cause that and her glands are now empty so should they be causing anything? She just seems to be very grumbly. Going to watch her like a hawk.
-
Glad the vet didn't find anything scary. Could she just be too hot? It's baking where I live at the moment.
-
Sheryl, if you're still worried, and you obviously are, you should get a second opinion. You know your dog, and the vets don't always get it right do they.
-
Is she scratching at her ears? Tilly is prone to ear infections and she makes a groaning noise when they're really bothering her, she also scratches right inside them and shakes her head a lot. It does sound like her stomach is bothering her though, could she have picked up and eaten something she shouldn't on a walk?
-
She did start scratching at her ears this morning and they are red. She definitely hasn't eaten anything though, she isn't an eat anything wee girlie. I will give it tonight and take her back tomorrow if she is still the same. She isn't being sick and she is bright enough. Her temperature was high but the vet assumed that it was because she had got herself into a state about being at the vets. :-\
-
Gosh Sheryl hope it nothing to serious :-\ poor Kali, fingers crossed she will feel better tomorrow :luv:
Hope all goes well this week ;) we are still waiting :-\

Thank you :luv: The move is Friday. I am definitely dreading it and Kali not feeling great couldn't have come at a worse time :-\
-
aww Kali :luv: Hope she's feeling better soon Sheryl and you're not stressing too much ( as if!!!)
-
Will be thinking of you  we had plans to go on Fri too but there is a tiny delay at the bottom of the chain,so maybe beginning of July for us. Just want to go now, most of the house is boxed up and does't feel like home any more :-\
Hope you get a good days weather, it makes to much difference  Fingers crossed kali will feel better by then

If your not happy I would take her back, you know her best. Don't they need a blood test to rule out pancreatitis?
-
Hope she feels better soon and its nothing too serious :luv:
-
Hope Kali starts to feel better soon - poorly ears can be a real misery for them :'( is she on antib's at all ?
-

Hope she is feeling better soon Sheryl xxx

Nearly missed this.
I can understand about the "heart murmour", ie anxiety may make it seem like she has one on a visit, but Temperature?? Not sure how anxiety can elevate it so she's showing a pyrexia. Keep an eye on her as you say Sheryl.

I was wondering about the temperature thing too Sheryl, but wasn't sure, so didn't want to say at the time. It sounds a bit odd to me, but I'm very inexperienced in these matters ph34r ;)

OMG I have only just seen this - hope she is back to normal in the morning and all is ok
here's hoping it was mainly her glands and now they have been emptied she will be better - hope the ear infection clears up quick too :luv:
kali - don't fret hun Aunty Cazza will be there in just under 2 weeks time to help your mummy and give you lots of cuddles :luv:
-
I think you should take her back, she sounds sore. I know you will anyway. Tell the vets you aren't leaving until they do some tests, especially a blood test to check her pancreas.
-
We're keeping everything crossed for Kali :luv: :luv:
