Our vets have got this food in called Simpsons premium, its a little cheaper than JWB which both my dogs are on at the moment. Not sure if i want to change as both dogs are doing well on JWB. The advantage is its local to me, so a little more convenient and its costs a little less.
Please have a look at this site and tell me what you think of the ingredients and wheather its the same or better. http://www.simpsonspremium.com/index.htm. Thanks

Hi
My 3 year old loves it - she was on Pro Plan before and can sometimes be a bit fussy but this goes down well.It was recommended and sold by the lady who runs our dog training classes. ( and she breeds, shows and boards dogs) Quite a few have bought it -no problems so far. Hope this helps. I did get a small sample tp try at first and it went down fine. :shades:

Thanks for that. Im still thinking it over at the moment.

I have never heard of the brand, but just want to say that in my experience, vets rarely have much idea about pet foods, other than what the reps tell them. I would be especially suspicious of brands they stock themselves - they will be getting a "cut".
I will Google and see what I can see......
Edited to add:
Ah, well, from their website it looks as though this is a good food after all.
Give it a try and see how it goes, if the price is right.

My vet recommended a change too.....to see if ours had allergies. We changed from JWB to Arden Grange, and slowly but surely things are really looking up.
The other great thing was that the staff at Arden Grange sent me help sheets for dealing with puppy diahorrea and how to make your own fluid for replacing those lost because of the dreaded diahorrea. They have written every couple of days to ask about progress. I think this is great support. I am just hoping everything continues to go well. It is always a worry changing diets..... we all just want to best don't we, at an afordable price.

I was having a stoopid moment, and read the 15kg guidelines as the 60kg guidelines and was wondering why you had to feed so much per day :005: ph34r
Looks to be a pretty good food to me, and good value too. :D
