We were taking a lateish evening walk tonight cos of the heat. We went to where we normally go during the day - but being later there were lots of bunnies about.
Katie thought this was very good fun. She did not catch any but she looked like a cocker on a pogo-stick jumping up between the heather and ferns - it was hilarious to watch and luckily the bunnies are quick enough to get out the way.
Should have named her Zebedee (magic roundabout chararacter on a spring for those who are scratching heads and wondering who on earth Zebedee was)

Fantastic. I love springy cocker mode. Rufus does it when he is on a very exciting hunt in an interesting patch of nettles, round the outside before he goes in, and in fields . The maize is his addiction. People laugh at him because sometimes all you see is the eras. He even does it in the local bunny infested wheat field when he is on the retractable!

My Lucy is like that too, she just loves being in the tall grasses prancing around and sometimes we can only see her ears, one ear all black the other black and white. Sometimes I think she should have been a little deer! She too goes after the rabbits but being only 5mths old can't catch them. Don't know what I would do if she did....

or perhaps work on her recall now so when she's a bit older you will be able to call her away from them - it may be cute now but could create a real problem when she's an adult :-\
