Not sure if this is in the right place?
Was just wondering if there was going to be a calendar this year? And if so will it be made using pictures from the photo comp? because we placed in a couple of classes and If Roxy is going to be in it I would like 10million copies!!!! :005: :005:
Not that I'm thinking ahead to xmas or anything! ph34r

Hopefully yes but it's still at the "thinking about" stage at the moment. We'll let you all know as and when we have more news :D

I've been thinking about this recently as well. ;) I hope there is as I joined to late and missed out on the last one. :'( I would be over the moon if my lot were in it and I'm sure I would buy quite a few copies. ;)

:'( I would love mine to be in the COL calendar too, but i never had a chance to enter the photo comp because OH had motorbike accident and because i need his guidance on loading pics then i missed it. :'(

Oh, i know idea :huh: howzabout raising even more funds for the deserving charities and holding auctions/raffles for the special privilege of COL members cherished doglets pics being in the calendar. :D

There is always next years comp and calendar for those that didnt win this year and I seem to remember there were complaints last year when winners pics didnt get into the finished calendar. Imust admit I would be gutted if we won a category and didnt get in!! I would still buy one though as there are some fantastic pics this year!!! (I am so going to have to practice for next years comp!!)

jeeez give the Mods a break!
Remember that the pictures that you put on line and that win categories aren't necessarily of high enough resolution, or a big enough size to put in print, or actually in focus when they're blown up! So some inevitably can't be used (or can only be used in a small size)
and also remember that the mods are only human, and do all the work voluntarily....mistakes do happen which I think have been apologised enough for by now ::)

Yes Colin is the one who designs the calendar and arranges all the printing but the other Mods also do their bit on the selling side, especially Mary who collected the payments and posted most of the calendars out last year. It's a team effort and like Helen says, it's all voluntary but with the best will in the world, we won't please everybody - such is life ;)
I'll close this for now but a new thread will be started as and when there is more news on the calendar front :D
