Title: Forest Dog Rescue, Worcestershire - Maddie
Post by: JaspersMum on August 23, 2009, 03:28:27 PM
Forest Dog Rescue in Worcestershire has this lovely 11 month old looking for a home http://www.forestdogrescue.org.uk/Meet_Dogs.htm

Maddie is an affectinate , merry girl, she's fine with cats and other dogs and has good basic obedience. She is house trained and a pleasure to live with. She does suffer from seperation anxiety and consistent handling and patience will eradicate this problem. Maddie will not be re-homed amongst very young children or in a novice home. As a gundog breed she needs plenty of exercise and a knowledgable owner

I know nothing of the dog, We went through this rescue when we started our search, they take all the strays and hand-ins for this part of Worcestershire so hope OK with Mods to post.  :shades:

I just posted about her on the surprise visitor thread ::) I looked at their website after you posted the link, she is absolutely gorgeous isn't she. There is a little photo on their homepage of her face on and she has the longest ears, absolutely stunning. She is worth a look Fiona ;)

What is it with these golden Girls. She is lovely, but I am probably not qualified as Rufus is my first dog. I expect even with her anxiety, she will go quickly as she is sweet natured and house trained.

I'm here! Lance was getting a haircut. :D

She's lovely, but I'm not sure about the SA as I really hope to be getting back to work soon.

I've also just heard about a 3 year old black show Cocker about to come into rescue from a house, so I may be back to black again! ;) :005:

Maxine, Black was the only colour I hadn't considered but look at Paisley!  These things just happen sometimes!

The SA would be a bit worrying though  :-\

It should usually be up to the rescue to find a homechecker ;)

If they don't use dogpages then suggest they put a post up in the volunteers section
