Title: Brodie and the wasp - and a question about dew claws
Post by: JennyBee on September 14, 2009, 09:07:02 PM
Brodie had a bit of an incident with a wasp earlier on when she stood on it and it disappeared into her feathers :o. I’ve been over her with every dog brush I own and there’s no sign thank doG, it must have fallen out when I rushed her home. But I've noticed that her dew claws are very sensitive, she is really unhappy at me touching them - is this normal or is it a case of a trip to the vets? Oh and although she’s fine and has been running about, should I give her Piriton? I'm pretty sure she must have been stung :-\

Thanks :luv:, Jenny xx

Dew claws can be sensitive purely cos they are a bit fragile and basically dangling of the leg! I wouldnbt bother with piriton if she seems fine.
