Title: Our first class

We've just come back from our first class  :D

It was fab, an hour of one to one training and I learnt loads  :D We've got loads of stuff to work on. The main thing at the moment is getting Harvey to hold a dummy rather than spitting it out and how to hunt closer rather than bombing off like a looney toon. :005:
 
I know absolutely nothing about working dogs so today's class has been really fun and interesting. The trainer demonstrated everytnhing with her working lab who was such a star.

I'm off now to order some smaller dummies as Harvey isn't to keen on the big one that I bought, and some training books as I freel I've alreay forgotten a heap of stuff :D

Will have to put the Harvey's together - ours can teach yours steadiness, yours can teach ours how to bomb off  :005: 

Harvey's favourite is his rabbit skin one.... they seem to like the softer ones too - our first one from Company of Animals was a hard one and is still Harvey's least favourite... (also go for green and avoid orange)

Harvey can definitely do fasy :005:

I thonk he's finally getting the hang of not dropping the tennis ball now and letting me get it from his mouth! Harvey's an expert at park style fetch and will happily drop the ball for you to throw it again and again ... :shades: 

However, we've had to scrap that now!

No you wont, you have done so much with him already.  :shades: Enjoy, my Alfie could never do that sort of training  :005: he is too scatty  :005:

Thanks Patsy :luv: He's been fun to train! :luv: alfie doesn't need to do that sort of training as his good looks probably let him off the hook everytime :luv:

Molly loves her rabbit fur one and will completely ignore anything else.

Glad you enjoyed the class  :D
