Title: Penny's first trim
Post by: luckypenny on November 17, 2009, 08:02:11 PM
At 6 1/2 months, Penny went for a well overdue first tidy-up today. I was terrified she's come back bald, so had a specific list of what I did and didn't want done and the groomer was great. I love her dainty little feet :luv:!

Before - the muddy look!

Before - the mop feet look.

After - check those teeny toes :luv: (although I can't say she looks too impressed!! :005:)

I'm just so pleased she still looks nice and cockery, just a bit tidier. I'm dreading tomorrow, as she doesn't know it but (whisper it) she's being spayed. I thought really long and hard and even though it  makes sense for us I'm not looking forward to it.  :-\

She looks lovely with her new haircut. Hoping op goes well, I've had 2 girls spayed at 6 months and apart from feeling a bit sorry for themselves the 1st night were almost back to normal the next day. :luv:

Oh my goodness, what a big week you have. I must say that Penny looks adorable. I would be delighted with that cut. I hang my head in shame, Blod needs a tidy up badly - I do like the fluffy look and I am dreading taking her to get cut in case it goes horribly wrong, I am very fussy and scared that she won't look right -I'm not very good at explaining what I want at the hairdressers for my own hair, let along a cocker haircut! Must get her sorted soon though.

All the very best for tomorrow, we also must face this decision soon too. Sending love and best wishes your way.

Penny looks lovely.  We had Hattie spayed in August.  She cried a lot on the way home but by the day after she was much better.  If i can recommend anything i would by some baby grows, i got some cheap ones from Tesco, cut a hole for her tail and cut the sleeves off.  Hattie was constantly trying to lick her wound.

Aw Penny you are beautiful!!

We had Maddi done at the same age, she'll be a bit droopy tomorrow night, then fine the next morning if she's anything like Madz was.  I remember how I felt with Maddi so I'll be thinking of you tomorrow xx
