Title: Using a youtube video in a presentation?
Post by: debbie321 on January 26, 2010, 10:32:39 AM
My colleage is creating a presentation (promotion interview) and has found the perfect video on you tube.  She wants to insert it into a powerpoint presentation or at least save it on her laptop to show during the presentation.  Is there a way of saving this clip on a laptop and viewing it without being connected to the internet?

Any help would be appreciated as I would love her to get the job!!

Debbie you need a piece of software to be able to download to your own laptop/pc ...you may also be infringing on copyright ....unsure on that bit !

Found this http://download.cnet.com/YouTube-Downloader/3000-2071_4-10647340.html

If the link doesn't work, can it be downloaded to the hard drive / saved to mem stick or burnt to a DVD??

(or can she use a dongle for the internet connection?)

As far as I know you have to use a downloader ...once on your machine you can then convert the file to whatever you so wish and put to disc /mem stick /cd
