Not sure if this is in the right place mods - pls move if not!
Has anyone used this or have any thoughts on it?
http://freshpets.net/product-information.php
I've used their deterrent recently to break Normy from her poo eating habit - it started with her ice obsession, then moved on to frozen poo during the big freeze and she's a real dog of habit so it's carried on since the snow. Happy to report the Poo deterrent has worked so I'll keep adding it for a couple of weeks just to make sure ::) but I wondered if anyone had any experience or thoughts on the fresh pets product?

Yes they've got a few products, the Poo eating deterrent is different to the Fresh pets general odour improver! It's a powder that you add to their food - contains capsicum (as well as usual pineapple etc). If you've got a fussy eater you have to slowly build up the amount you add to their food (although that wasn't a problem with hover Normy) and do it for a couple of weeks until the habit is broken. I'm also in the process of changing her food as it's about time I found a better quality food that she's not allergic to also, so hoping if there is any link with lack of nutrients that's causing her to eat poo that this will solve that problem too....

What food are you looking to change to
i am looking for a new food for bob i like to sound of Barking heads Tender loving care
it says in there leaflet
" A deliciously tasty adult chicken & rice complete dog food which has been carefully formulated for all dogs. whether they simply enjoy a chicken & rice dinner or they have a sensitive tummy, loose stools or flatulence, a little bit of 'tlc' will definitely help"

I posted on your other thread, but in case you don't see it we're trying Healthy Paws - I like the idea of them having rabbit tbh, but if that's no good for Normy who's my allergy one, I will probably try Barking Heads next :D
