Title: Dry nose
Post by: JaspersMum on February 14, 2010, 09:33:13 PM
The end of Charlies nose is a bit scabby and dry - I rather suspect that he's stuck his nose in the cats face once too often and Tig's reminded him who is boss  ::)

What can I rub in to soften it up? Am I safe to put some vasoline on it or can you recommend something else?

I've used vaseline before and it was fine  ;)

I would use marigold salve.

Our vet recommended E45 cream for Holly's nose.

Vaseline is great..........Freya gets a dry nose, and I usually rub a bit of vaseline in for her.

Thanks guys - put some vaseline on and it's looking better already although I think he licked most of it off  ::)
