Title: JWB and the giant kibble
Post by: Harveypops on February 26, 2010, 07:36:40 PM
I thought I'd try out a new flavour of JWB for Harv, however whilst looking at the flavour range forgot to check whether I was buying the right food for the right sized dog.

I'm now a proud owner of a gigantuous sack of JWB lamb and rice flavour for large dogs!! >:(  The kibble is the sort of size you would expect a great dane to eat. Harvey also now like to crunch it in haly (dropping crumbs everywhere) then walk around the house still crunching dropping more crumbs everywhere. I now hoover and mop my downstairs floor 3 times a day!  >:(

Just about to write that! Each kibble is almost the size of an apricot and I can probably fit about 15 bits in Harvey's bowl!  :005: :005:

Well do as I suggest and blend it, maybe with some yoghurt and he can have Peach Melba :005:

My Mum bought some of this by mistake when Rosie was a puppy. She couldn't understand why her legs seemed to be growing faster than her body. We ribbed her it was because she was feeding her giant kibble, my poor Mum took it to heart and was convinced that she had caused her some damage. :005:

We tried to smash it into smaller pieces between 2 pieces of newspaper with a rubber mallet but it wasn't successful and ended up giving the almost full sack to the local rescue
