Age: 6 years
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
Sex: Male
Reason for coming to The Mayhew: His owners divorced and neither felt they could take care of him.
Dogs? Yes
Cats? Yes
Older Children? Yes
Young Children? Yes, providing they are used to dogs
House Trained? Yes
Period of time s/he can be left alone? Would suit someone who worked fulltime providing he is not left for longer than 4-5 hours without a break e.g by hiring a dog walker, pet sitter, or coming home at lunch time etc.
Suitable Home? Would suit a first time owner who is fully prepared for the hard work and commitment involved in caring for a dog. They will also need to have fully researched his breed type.
Will need to go to training classes? No, unless his new guardian is a first time owner
Exercise requirements? Minimum of one hour of off lead exercise daily in a park or open space.

I lost my own Paddy just two weeks ago. It's just a bit early to have another although I keep thinking he's hiding or sleeping somewhere. Very sad. Anyway, this Paddy looks lovely and I hope he gets a good home soon.

I am in love :luv: look at his handlbar moustache he reminds me of my grandad who always had one. What an absolute little treasure IF ONLY!!! :luv:

I've emailed to see if he's still available. We've been mulling over getting a second one for a little while - I hope our four-year-old Darcey doesn't mind an older, male dog - she's been used to having us to herself, lol.

He doesn't seem to be on their website any more but I think they may change the dogs they feature so we'll see!

Paddy has found a new home already - happy for Paddy :D
Although is it bad to be a bit sad, lol!
