Hi thought I would share my mad morning with you. I am working from home today at the kitchen table. My little Marco who is 5 months has only really had a bit of a yap on him or a whine.... but today he has found his inner WOOF!!!!
My next door neighbour is digging up the front garden so he is posted on the back of the sofa looking out the window woofing at them.... every couple of minutes he comes in and jumps on my knee as if to say "mum mum look at me I have a WOOF and I am an exceptional guard dog" LOL
Bless him... his like a tenage boy whose voice has broke LOL

Awww, he's growing up - it's great when you hear them woof for the first time. :luv:
But I still miss hearing the yippy bark. :luv:

Congratulations Marco!
My 3 yr old 'man' still has a yap....... ::) He doesn't care though and still thinks he's highly sort after by the ladies ::)

I came in from work this afternoon to find for the first time Harvey in his crate fast asleep (normally he's waiting in his pen, bum wiggling when I walk in) when I lifted the blanket that's over his crate to see if he was ok (my heart was in my mouth!) he opened one eye and did a "who are you?" growl, until he realised it was me, then the bum started wiggling again...it's funny how their instinct just takes over isn't it!

Tucker has not found his inner WOOF yet sadly. He also still has the yippy bark (incredibly high-pitched too!). >:(

Hector found his woof quite late but unfortunately is making up for it now!!
Until he was 5 month every time the very large dog in the next door garden woofed (imagine very low big woof) Hector would fly into the house going 'eeeie eeeie eeeie' with his tail between his legs.
Now at 10 months old he delivers a rather gruff woof back over the wall!

Marco sounds just like hector lol the neighbour on the otherside has a springer spaniel one bark from that side of the fence and he fly's across the kitchen floor which is normally wet from his paws and comes to an abrubt halt in the middle with a look that says "save me mum their is a wolfhound going to eat me"!!
Its all bravado with him.... still so soppy and a baby

aaaw bless him - they are so sweet at that age

Used to have a springer 20 years ago they are even more of a handful than a cocker

My OH is a chef so we were either going to go with Marco (Marco Pierre White) or Ramsey! LOL Marco won hands down the minute we saw him has the curly brown hair for a start and is a bit of a handful :lol2:
When he is very naughty he gets his full name screamed across the garden "Marco Pierre White stop eating my plants"!!!!
xx Debbie

Rupert (14 weeks) had just started to bark but only at the TV when Lambing Live is on! He jumps up on the sofa sits on me then proceeds to growl and bark everytime he hears a sheep baa?!
Other than that just LOTS of squeaking ::)
Everyone we meet on walk says how "chatty" he is :005:

The first barks! Oh I remember those days!! Maddi still yips with excitement and saves her barks for special occasions (you know like the postman) lol :luv:
