OK - My logical head is telling me it's a lump from his injections last week
My illogical-panic-ridden-paranoid head is telling me there's something wrong!
The lump is definately in the vicinity of where he had his jabs and microchip...
...however, it's only been in the past two days that it's swollen into a lump - before then (straight after injections/microchip - Last Tuesday) it felt a little "gristley" - but not lumpy.
Do I take him to the vets?

if in doubt yes

Yep, a quick trip to the vets to ease your mind, I think ;). A friend's pup had exactly the same thing caused by the vaccination, fingers crossed it's the same with your boy :luv:

Zac had this on the back of his neck after his vacination, we were concerned but when we took him to the vets it was just a reaction to the jab. It was like a small grisely lump and lasted for hyst under a week and then went down. Fingers crossed yours is the same.

Definately worth getting it checked out - just in case the microchip has migrated - very rare but put your mind at rest by getting it checked.

I would get it checked to put your mind at rest , but Dennis did have a lump when he had his jab and chip done :D

it's very likely to be a reaction - lots of dogs get a lump - if it gets worse you could give him an anti-histimine like Piriton which will help reduce it ;)
