At long last after waiting 4 weeks, Odie had his first outside walk this morning  I only took him round the block for 10 mins but he behaved really well. When I've tried lead walking in the garden, he always either sat down or lay on his back but didn't do that today! :clapping: We live on a busy road and he is really being challenged by the regular buses/lorries etc but what doesn't kill him makes him stronger :005: He got extra cuddles for being a brave pup! Am I right in thinking it's 15 mins for a 3 month old pup - is this per day or 2/3 times? :D

Yay! It's fun walking them when it's their first walks isn't it. Dylan was allowed out from last Tues and we've had so many mini adventures already
I am giving Dylan (was 3 mos on 10th March) 2 x 15 mins walks a day, one is in the daytime and one in the evening. I am trying to make the daytime one somewhere where he'll socialise with other dogs, and the evening one is just to tire him out so just around our local street. I must say though 15 minutes passes very quickly when they want to sniff everything :005: :005: :005:
Happy walking :D

Its so exciting... we are now up to 20 Min's as Selby was born on the 19th November, but I know what you mean, we just get to somewhere nice and have to come back, I am like you not sure if the 20 Min's is total per day or if its twice a day. He never likes coming back and we get the barks and growls to let us know he wants more, they are so funny at this age. Does Odie cruise? Selby is like a toddler if he wants to get to me from OH he cruises along the settee.. will not get down and walk on all 4s but prefers to walk on his back legs.
