25-03-10 Vixen is a very pretty little girl and the first person that meets her will want to take her home! She is a lovely 3 year old ex-breeding cocker who is such a sweetheart. She is currently has a bad skin condition but this will hopefully come right and with treatment. Vixen will need another dog to go to a home with to help her build in confidence. She's a very pretty girl and I have no doubt that she won't be here for long. Don't miss out on this girl she needs a smiley face to encourage her and give her lots of confidence.
PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home ex-breeding dogs where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up.
This dog is at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THIS DOG: Please read our adoption procedures before applying and complete the Adoption Form. You will be contacted within 24 hours. If successful you will be home checked and you and all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog. All our dogs are micro-chipped, inoculated and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If you are adopting a puppy you will need to provide details of training classes in your area. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £160 for dogs at the centre.

This :luv: girl is also on foster with me. Arrived this evening.
She has been someones pet at some point before ending up in a puppy farm. She walks on a lead and is not timid at all. She loves children so I think she has probably been around them in the past. Her coat is silky soft. Loves cuddles and will roll over to have her belly rubbed :luv:
She will melt anyones heart and I will be surprised if she isn't snapped up quick! x

she looks lovely , it sounds like some >:D has let mange run through all of the cockers and cavs and then got rid looking at the MT site, at least shes in a good place now :-*

What a sweetie.
I don't know what's worse... the poor dogs who have never known anything other than the hell of a puppy farm, or a dog who has known what a normal family life is ending up there.... :'( :'( :'(

Vixen is a real little gem to foster. :luv: She is confident which probably comes from being a pet before ending up in a puppy farm. She will stand at the back door to be let out so housetraining is going really well. Loves going walks - will initially pull on the lead at first as she is all excited to be going out! :005: She will jump up especially when making food but is learning the down command! ::) She doesn't sit still for a photo but have added 2 decent ones that I got. She loves to chase birds in the back garden and out walks. We were out at the fields yesterday and we saw a pheasant ahead but Vixen didn't. She got the the scent though and would have been off after it if not on a lead! :005:
