Title: Arden Grange puppy/junior - feeding amount help please!
Post by: lucyfo on April 15, 2010, 04:31:41 PM
I'd be really grateful if someone out there who is feeding their little one on Arden Grange Puppy/Junior too could do me a huge favour please??!

I bought a massive bag of the above for Maddy a few weeks ago and 'decanted' it into a large storage bucket thingy and binned the packet... I'm suddenly having a total panic that I'm not feeding her the right amount but cannot for the life of me find the feeding guideline chart thingy online anywhere. Would someone mind checking the back of the packet for me and letting me know the guideline amount for a 9kg-10kg pup please??

Thank you thank you! Lucy

It depends on how old she is.
If she weighs 9 to 10 kg I take it she's about 50 weeks old???
For a puppy who is 27 weeks old and weighs 5 kg they say feed 128 gms a day.
For a puppy who is 52 weeks old and weighs 10 kg feed 215 grams daily.

Hope this helps.

She's 36 weeks and at her last weigh-in was 8.5kg, but that was a good few weeks ago now and she's slightly bigger so I'm guessing at approx. 9-10kgs.

So thank you both - that's really helpful. I was working on the 20g per kg of weight rule anyway so you've put my mind at rest! Phew!
