Post by: gholmes on January 22, 2011, 08:53:09 AM
Hi,

can anybody reccommend a good gun dog book, for beginners. Alfie (show cocker) is now 10.5 m old and his training is coming on great. He is good on the whistle, recall and distance stop, sit,  look at me are all good.

I would like to up his training and develop my knowledge as well.

Hope you can help ?

Graeme and Alfie.

I used Working Gundogs by Martin Deeley to train my 1st worker
That was some time ago but it might still be in print or you could buy it second hand.
