Since Topaz had her first season mid April, she sems to have slowed down and matured quite a lot and no longer spends as much time playing with her demented sibling and exploring swimming etc. She has become quite staid.
Has anyone else noticed a fairly obvious change in their girls!!! especially in so short a time?

Hi There
First seasons are quite a big deal for a young lady at least they were for all my'n . Hormones tend to be a bit all over the place and mother nature has a way of telling them it's time to be a bit more grown up . Sometimes the hormones in my'n were so strong they really slowed down and started nesting and collected toys etc even though they were never mated . :luv:
Season cycles last for two three months after the main bleeding stage so could be Topaz hormones still not levelled again yet . You then get another two three months of no hormone activity until the next cycle starts all over again . >:D

Nerys hasn't long had her second season (at 18 months) and is definately calmer now (except when it is time for a walk, when she turns into a whirling dervish!). She has become more sensible on walks and listens to me more, I don't know if that is to due with her seasons or has just settled down with us (we have only had her six months).
